SM has it's issues but it's still the best site out there in my experience. I have been working another site (which will remain nameless). SM guys are much nicer in general.

Streamate is mostly a token site atp but they'll never say that outright. A part of me wishes they would come clean and let us go crazy because then I would know where I stand. Just imagine a token site where the minimum token cost a full dollar instead of a dime?

I'm gonna get back on this weekend after a brief hiatus and the plan is to use it like a token site.

Looks like SM is doing restriction testing, I read on reddit that members will have to create an account and upload an ID to be able to view free chat. I do not have a member account, and when I went to view my room and it was blurred out, says I have to log in. This possibly has to do with new laws being proposed all over the US that will require ID verification to access porn sites.

Wow, you're right! I can't view rooms without it being blurred. I'm blown away that they are doing this.

Streamate won't let me have a member account (they close it immediately every time I try for some damn reason) so I guess I can't ever see my room now, but if it improves traffic quality I'm all for it.

Tested it with my phone with wifi off so I'd get a different IP, and same result! I can hear clearly but can't see at all, everything blurred out.

I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not, but it might be! I guess it will encourage men with credit cards to register so they can see. Hope it will decrease the broke lurkers too.

Has there been an official statement from Streamate about age verification? Recently I was in one of the states placed on the PornHub ban due to legislation and I realized SM was doing the same. When I returned to my home state both sites were visible without logging in. So far those states are Idaho, Utah and Virginia.

^^ This has been happening off and on for me on my mobile device the past few weeks (blurring). Sometimes they're blurred, sometimes they are not. No statement from SM that I have ever seen but I am not "in the know" like some folks are. Today, it is blurred on my laptop for the first time but not on my phone. Weird....I have more to say about this but would rather discuss in Verified.
