I just a few days ago discovered Call Jane Doe and I have a question. Is there a way to change the chat rate? I see that they allow us to set our our per minute rates for phone lines.
Right now it's showing that I get .35 cents per chat. How much is the customer paying?
From the website:
Client A is an affiliate. Affiliates get paid out at 80%. Let’s say you:
Exchange 6 text messages
Do a 20 minute call at $2.99 per minute
He sends a $5 Tribute

Client B is an organic client, which gets paid out at 70%.
To compare, let’s use the same amounts.

If those were your only two clients that week, we would send a direct deposit on Monday for the total amount of $98.48.
Client A: $54.24
Client B: $47.46
Total Payout: $101.7
Total Fees: $0

It s 70% for phone calls, tips, texts. Clients pay $0.5 to text.
Can t change the chat price. Can t disable it as well, which is unfortunate, because no one is always in front of the pc whilst waiting for phone calls and it logs you out for not answering a chat in 5minutes. At times, it doesn t send you a phone notification for a new chat on the site, but the system will 100% send you a notification that you ve missed it and they logged you off.
Chats answered later than 5minutes are free for the client should you answer late and it will appear in your dashboard as an automatic refund.

How much do they cost?
Each chat from the client is 50¢ and your replies are free.
That means that if a guy sends you 3 messages and you reply once, he gets charged $1.50. If you send three replies, he still only gets charged $1.50. He is only charged for his messages.
This is meant to encourage the conversation to flow in a natural way.
Can I set my own price?
Not now, but that is something we plan to add in the future.
