LOL... the immortal banner lives on
Stripperweb Is Closing After 20 Years
How jarring and sad it is to see the combination of SuperMod's last post + advertising SW in their signature right after. Man I wanted to cry when I visited SW, frantically tried to open multiple threads, and realized what happened

Thank you so much for starting this forum!
I can't believe SW is gone. Very sad.

I thought I was a resilient person and then this happened. I've struggled less with some deaths. But I guess Stripperweb shuttering affects my daily life more.

Seriously... I've been spiraling for the past few days. I didn't think it would be this emotionally heavy, but it really was a very unique safe space.Winged Dinghy wrote: ↑Wed Feb 01, 2023 12:38 am I thought I was a resilient person and then this happened. It's reassuring, though, to see the effort that people have invested, to archive the site... to build forums like this (holy shit that's a lot of work), and to try to give us a soft landing.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for all that you have done to get this forum started. I can't even imagine the amount of work it's taken and also to try and archive/save as much content in the short amount of time before they closed. Have you slept?!
At least this time around, we know who the forum owner is! (AND a female in the industry...not a dude!)
PS-- Is there a "Thanks" button that I'm missing? I noticed people being thanked and I don't see a button. Maybe it's the web browser I'm using too... (Opera)

I've also wondered about the "thank you" feature. I don't see it, either (Chrome)Tea4Me wrote: ↑Wed Feb 01, 2023 1:14 am I just wanted to say THANK YOU for all that you have done to get this forum started.
